Well Khan Vs Maidana can't be the highest in 2010 as the article says is it? He said Kessler vs Joe had the lowest for a Championshop fight and did the same as the highest in 2010.

Also he's trying to over sell us his radio show.

Good figures over all though, but I disagree on UFC salaries the same as boxing other than Floyd and Pacman.

Look at the world... Haye makes mills, Wlad and Vitali, and many fighters make over 250k such as Khan etc...

People like Ortiz only made 150k, like what the lower weights in UFC do, but headliners makemmore than UFC headliners if they are good figters.

Infact I can name 10 at least who earn more than UFC fighters.

Mosely, hopkins, jmm, cotto, marg, pavlik, berto, alexander, bradley and the super six...

I dunno. But my wife works for a major cable co. She says Pacman/Margarito did 1.575 million buys. I think Mosley/Mayweather was 1.2 or so. Mayweather Marquez was 1 mil buys. Pacman/Clottey was 700K buys.

Great article BTW. Was just discussing it with the wife. No one is really looking out for the sport of boxing. The fighters, promoters, sanctioning bodies, casinos, etc...all just looking out for themselves which you'd expect.

one of the things in this great article that really got me thinking was the whole saturday night thing. i actually HATE that boxing is only on during the weekends. i wanna watch the fights live but nobody wants to sit in on a friday/saturday night watching tv.

and i get it, who's gonna fly to vegas in the middle of the week for a fight? thats why they should get away from the casino venues and take the show on the road. you dont fly across the country to see a band play, they go on tour. people go to concerts on weeknights, they'd go to boxing too.

That whole "non americans" thing is non sensical.

Where else do those guys compete?

Lennox Lewis always sold a TON of PPv's.
