According to the information gained by BoxingScene.com/Bokser.org, the date of the clash between Tomasz Adamek (42-1, 27 KO) and Vinny Maddalone (33-6, 24 KO) is likely heading to December 9. The date will be non-standard – it will take place on Thursday. Originally, it was planned that Adamek will face Maddalone in Atlantic City but it turned out that promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank had already reserved the date. Maddalone is the biggest farce and waste in boxing. A human punching bag that absorbs punches like a wet sponge. The slow moving slob is a disgrace to the sport. Why this loser is fighting is unfathomable just a disgrace to boxing.Comment

am I the only one who realizes this fight is a gimme fight and an automatic win for Adamek??? Maddalone is really an 8 round fighter. He has only fought 163 rounds in 40 fights against basically bums. Brian Minto who might be one of the worst fighters ever also beat the bum maddalone twice. Maddalone belongs on a loading dock or driving a cab he is not a fighter. This fight is made to give Adamek a very easy win. A real joke. Maddy's face will absorb many punches like a roll sopping up olive oil. A farce.Comment

This fight is a farce. Arreola beat Minto like a dead dog so easily. Minto destroyed Maddalone twice beat the bum to a pulp twice easily. Adamek schooled Arreola and now wants to fight Maddagarbage. Fixed fight and should be called off.Comment
