Yes, the weight issue valid, but Haney accepted, took the money, went ahead with the fight. Haney also rehydrates to a lot.

That might be the only fight they fight, no rematch, was a beating. Rather other fights for Ryan, maybe a rematch at welterweight.

But there's Teofimo, Benn, and of course Ennis, although I doubt the latter will get a fight with Ryan, unless the money is right, for that risk.

All of them high-profile commentators got punked, didn't they? Paulie even lost $100K betting on Haney. I didn't see a single person, professional boxer, veteran, aficionado, you name it, that didn't favor Haney winning the fight. Devin Haney kept saying he'll KO Garcia. So it's pretty much a cherrypick fight gone horribly wrong.
