Big signing for Hearn, hope he makes the most of it.

Boots hasn't had a belt long, so he shouldn't give it up for nothing. But the better opposition and the bigger fights are at 154 if he can get a big fish or title fight there he should take it. Crawford is a free agent so it's hard to guess what he does next but 154 seems likely for him. Maybe Hearn can talk the Saudis into putting up the big money for Bud vs Boots though as Saudis seem to like the undisputed fights.

Benn could be an opponent for him if he ever gets a license.

Who does matchroom have for this bum? Would of been a great signing if ortiz was still at WW and he coulda whooped that hype job.

What's Eddie going to do for Boots at 147 or 154?

It's expected to happen. The backlash of waiting around too much sacrificing activity is way too much to take. PBC is not interested. TMT Mayweather is not interested. ESPN is projected to exit boxing like every major network in the US. So who else is there for the heavily hyped future of boxing?

Bud and Boots might even end up fighting in Saudi Arabia with Fast Eddie at the helm.

I've been wondering where Ennis was going to wound up, now that he was a free agent. This is a very unexpected move, and a signing that I'm pretty sure Hearn didn't telegraph in any interview. Let's see where this goes. Logical move would be to get him a fight in Philly next. That Crowley fight needs to go to purse bid now.

MR's primary goal for Ennis should be activity. Get him a fight as quickly as possible.

What big fight can he get here, matchroom are not letting him fight Benn like people think. This is like when they signed Ortiz to keep him away from AJ. They are not risking Benn taking an L against Boots.
