  • Comments Thread For: Benavidez Preaching Patience Around 'Scared' Canelo Alvarez

David Benavidez is not sitting on his hands waiting to win the Saul "Canelo" Alvarez sweepstakes. Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs) is looking to make his 175lbs debut by securing a fight with former light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk in June

Can Boss Nelo use "drug cheat" as an excuse not to fight Benavidez?

No he can't, because they've both come up positive on previous drug test. Canelo for performance enhancing drug's, and Benavidez for recreational drug's.
The bottom line here is why has Canelo refusing to fight a undefeated former champion who has been calling him out for two year's?

Just asking since Boss Nelo seems to run out of excuses not to fight Benavidez....

It sure as hell look's like Canelo is scared of fighting a taller, and bigger punching version of Bivol, by the name of Benavidez!
Mention Benavidez's name in his presences, and watch how upset he get's, that interviewer's keep asking him when is he going to fight his nemesis!

I'm glad the weight bully is finally heading to his proper division, which is cruiserweight (he'll get there eventually)

I don't buy his Ļi'm tired of waiting for CaneloĻ bs. he probably can't even make the weight anymore

he already lost a belt once for that reason, and that was years ago

it's time for Bullyvidez to finally fight guys of his own size

He's running out of excuses, himself, and his fan's. Ultimately he's going to regret not having fought Benavidez.
Because he's going to be harassed, ridiculed, and mocked mercilessly, for not having faced his most formidable challenge in his division for two whole year's!
