  • Comments Thread For: O'Shaquie Foster 'Showed The World Who I Was' In Dramatic Comeback, 12th-Round TKO Of Hernandez

By Keith Idec - O'Shaquie Foster knew what he had to do during the championship rounds October 28 in Cancun. Open scoring afforded Foster knowledge that the WBC super featherweight champion otherwise wouldn't have had during his first title defense against Mexican challenger Eduardo "Rocky" Hernandez. Judge Nicolas Hidalgo had Foster down by the rather ridiculous score of 100-90, a shutout for Hernandez, after the 10th round and judge Ed Pearson had Hernandez ahead by a slimmer margin, 97-93.

That 11th round was some ish of legends. Both guys were hurt and out on their feet at some point. Foster just showed he had a bit more left than Hernandez. Nova can box, but he's gonna hafta make it the same type of rough fight to beat Foster IMO, but don't know if he has the temperament to do that. Should be an good one.

Yes you did, you showed the world that you were a world champion, and you did it in your opponent's back yard, and down on point's!
I wasn't a fan of your's, but you deserve major kudos for your heart, and determination in defending your title successfully!

Funny how the writer overhypes the African American fighter because he didnīt hug as they usually do and won in a good battle, SOMETHING MEXICANS/ LATINOS DO ALL THE TIME. This African American agenda and White guilt needs to stop.

Foster lost the first 9 for sure. The knockout was needed. That’s our beef with him, coasting.
