    One of British boxing's most decorated but most underappreciated fighters has decided to hang up his gloves. Doncaster's Jason Cunningham won the English bantamweight title back in 2014 and remained a stalwart of the domestic title scene for almost a decade.

    Enjoy retirement Jason, definitely a kid who never had it easy, won in the away corner several times and overachieved based on expectations.

      We gotta stop having guys that are close friends with the fighters write articles about them. Either way, best of luck to his future endeavors .

        Decent domestic level fighter not world class or anything but had a decent career cleaned up domestically British European commonwealth etc

            Jason's been a great ambassidor to the sport & it nice to see he's had the sense to get out before he takes to much damage. Hopefully he stays in the sport in some kind of training capacity. "Any news on the up coming Jay Harris Connor Butler fight"?
