So what you can start expect in the coming years is most big earners to start sitting inactive for the rest of the year and wait for their monster payday in Riyadh season

Riyadh Season starts in October and ends in March, so not a small amount of time, can get three big events just like this Riyadh Season.

I said in the coming years, when boxing gets more established over there as part of Riyadh season, in the next 2 or 3 years..

A lot of big names are only going to want to fight during these months and in Saudi because its a lot more money for them. Its good because it means we do get some big fights, but they're not really events that boxing fans in other countries can get tickets to.

If they're selling that much money out to get Deontay Wilder to agree to be on a card where AJ is main event, then you can only imagine the amounts of money that's getting handed out. so once they fully establish themselves in big time Boxing regularly, you will see a massive shift that pretty much all the big fights are going to be there.

Ant fighter that has a sniff at fighting at Riyadh season in the coming years will be advised to stay inactive by their teams until that fight because they don't want to mess up the payday.

Probably right. Apart from the Saudis have already said they will invest outside of the principality which makes sense if they want to completely take control

“The truth of the matter is, if you are not enthused by the prospect of the likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Joseph Parker, Dmitrii Bivol, Jai Opetaia, Daniel Dubois and Filip Hrgovic fighting at the same place on the same night, then perhaps boxing isn’t the sport for you.”

It’s not enough to just throw name fighters on a card…what the fans want is to see them fighting EACH OTHER. Those who are in the same weight class anyway.

Using the Saudi money to put on showcase fights is a waste really. Instead, take advantage of that cash to put on the great matchups that we never get.

The Saudi's said it would be the best fighting the best , on the 23rd the faces are there but the match ups are not. It should be billed as the 'showcase' ..It's okay but it's not the fights we want to see.Thankfully we've got the main course in February.
