  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Comes In 9 Pounds Heavier For Ngannou Fight Than He Was For Stoppage Of Chisora

A fully clothed Tyson Fury was nearly 10 pounds heavier Friday night than he was when the unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion weighed in for his last fight. The 6-foot-9 Fury stepped on the scale at 277.7 pounds for his 10-round, non-title fight against Francis Ngannou on Saturday night at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 6-foot-4 Ngannou came in at 272.1 pounds, 7.1 pounds more than he was allowed to weigh for his UFC bouts.

Really disappointing this won't count on their records. They said for months it would. Tyson Fury is a liar.

First of all Fury isn't 6'9". We all have seen him standing next to Wilder and AJ. Unless he's wearing high heels he's 6'7".

Second, obviously he did ZERO training for this exhibition and hopefully he has seriously underestimated Francis and overestimated his own fat ass. Here's hoping for if not a KO of Fury at least a very good effort from Francis, maybe landing a few good shots and a knockdown.

Its clear Tyson did not dedicate a real fight camp for this fight.TBH he should not need it , too much skills for him to find himself in any kind of trouble…

to be fair ngannou looks a bit of a brute, if he falls flat on his face in the fight i think it may just silence mma guys calling out boxers possibly for good, who knows

This here is why promoters don't even bother putting a decent card together; easily pleased sycophants. Compare that card to a UFC show.

If Fury can't KO this roid head, rookie in under 3 rounds, he's going to let the whole boxing world down.

Bakole vs Takam is the only meaningful fight on the whole card, and it's not being televised? How stupid is that?
