  • Comments Thread For: Emmanuel Rodriguez Parks Retirement Talk, Calls For Unification Bouts With Moloney, Santiago

Emmanuel Rodriguez can't seem to decide whether he is done with the sport or ready to resume his second bantamweight title reign. His latest callout suggests the latter, though all of it is perfectly in line with your typical boxing retirement.

What the **** Manny! Don't do **** like this, because it just makes you look disingenuous, and you'll wind up losing credibility.
You've just gotten some of your best wins in your career, including winning the IBF World Championship.
This should be the best opportunity for you to make the most money in your career by defending your title as many times as possible.
Some of the boxing pundits even go as far as to say that you are the best Puerto Rican fighter, it's time to rock, and roll.
You should still have some excellent years of success in this business, don't let this golden opportunity slip through your hands!

Classic case of Inoue-induced Dissociative Identity Disorder. One minute retired, the next willing to fight whoever happens to be available.

That's what a few punches by The Monster will do to one's brain.

          Stephen Fulton is up next.

Well, that was like a Fury or Teo retirement.

He probably had a moment of rage or some anger over something - but he should have slept on it instead of announcing something half-baked.

I bet he’s finding out some stuff that no one know about it, this is how boxing operates, I he’s not want to quit but circumstances around pushed him to make that decision
