  • Comments Thread For: Brandon Figueroa: "I Would Love To Fight Naoya Inoue"

Stephen Fulton was up against it. Naoya Inoue seemed like a force of nature on paper, one that was quickly arriving in the super bantamweight division. The moment he walked through those doors at 122 pounds, however, Fulton barricaded his path. His WBC and WBO titles were proudly d****d over his shoulders and his undefeated record made the Philly native believe he was essentially untouchable.

And there is the man who has the best style and physical attributes to do it. If anyone can do it it’s that man with power, size, strong chin, and relentless aggression

Great fight to see but Figurroa is too slow for Naoya. It is best to see Casimero or Nery.

This guy is a punching bag. Inoue would kill him

I'd certainly watch it but Figueroa isn't on the level, it'd be a drubbing just like Spence got the other night in fact perhaps worse...

Consolidate your interim title against Rey Vargas at 126, and unify while you wait v Leigh Wood, Luis Alberto Lopez, or Robeisy Ramirez. If you can get unified, that Inoue paycheck will come your way if he makes it past Tapales.

You mean the Nery that can't fight in Japan because he's a cheater?

Figueroa presents a challenge that would be interesting. His come forward and constant punches either gives him a chance to confuse the monster or get knocked out and his durability makes that interesting. Nice match up IMO
