That was actually somewhat different, and very strange. If I recall correctly, Ali was on his feet, and the Japanese wrestler was lying on the canvas, imploring Ali to get down and wrestle.
That was even more of an exhibition, and not only boxing allowed.
That was dumb too but a major difference is Ali actually fought a bunch of his contemporaries while Fury proclaims himself the best of his era when he has only fought one of the other big 4, and very few halfway decent current opponents outside of that.
This the bottom of the bucket of sad excuses. Big John coping hard.
Ali fought everyone. Fuey fought old Wlad and Bum Squad. Fuey ducked Wlad rematch, tried to duck Bum Squad III and went life and death with Otto ”Unknown” Wallin. Everyone else on Fuey’s record is a no hoper and Fury has been on all fours against those guys too.
And on top, Ali vs Inoki is considered the dumbest **** in boxing history. In that aspect Luke vs Francis is comparable but that’s not a good thing for the Tipsy Family.
I wonder if Fury vs John Cena is next xD bcs Rocky Balboa did it too! Fury at this point is, after all, about as much a real boxer as Rocky Balboa.
