  • Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis On Lackluster Showing Against Chukhadzhian: "They Fell For The Trap"

Jaron Ennis always felt as though he needed to violently take out his opponents in order to get to where he wanted to be. So far, he's done exactly that but the rest of the welterweight division hasn't been too gung-ho about facing him. But while most haven't paid too much attention to him, Karen Chukhadzhian took notice of every unconscious skull that bounced off the canvas.

I wonder who fell for the trap? Did his last performance attract big names to fight him? Is he talking about Villa falling for the trap? The media fell for the trap? The fans? Both were hyping him up. So who fell for the trap?

Might just want to be honest and say Karen was a stylistically tough opponent to look good against and just give him his props. He was a defensively sound fighter. That’s it. No need to talk nonsense. With some “let him out of the cage” type of comments.

Well remember, he said he'll look better against someone above a C-level.

nobody believes that he intentionally looked lackluster against Chukhadzhian. It's just dumb to say.
