  • Comments Thread For: Alberto Puello Suspended Six Months By Nevada Commission For Prior Drug Testing Infraction

Alberto Puello will face a six-month suspension but avoided a fine or further disciplinary action for a prior drug test. The five-member Nevada State Athletic Commission panel voted unanimously to bench the unbeaten Dominican through October 5 during its monthly agenda hearing held Tuesday at state headquarters in Las Vegas. The ruling stemmed from a prior positive drug test as produced from a sample collected by Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) on April 5 and discovered on April 19.

Suspended, no fine and then next in line after a Davies fight if it happens or if Rolly vacates it will be Ohara.

He should be obligated to fight a ranked contender before getting another title shot. He lost a pay day but is right back into the mix. He is not a high profile fighter so it has to be hurting him financially.

NSAC, DO YOUR JOB! Change Romero vs. Barosso to "No Contest!" Tony Weeks has admitted his mistake, so take action!

6 months. If Benn kept his beak shut, he'd be fighting already. Eddy is filling his head with dreams of sheiks and sacks. I want to see him off the sauce, vs somebody who will tune him up.

Benn is an awful strong boy, but I have no idea how much of his strength was from clomifene. When he fights again, he should permanently have to submit to the strictest drug testing possible

It's weird what is happening at 140. WBA is largely at fault, & WBC is doing WBC stuff. Who the F are champions there now ?
