Never had the talent people thought he had. Was overrated from the beginning. I admit he did have some very good skills at one time. Speed, decent pop, good arsenal and head movement. But as soon as he started fight very good fighters, his less than stellar intangibles led to his failures.

That wasn’t his downfallc trying to be Floyd. His downfall was that he actually believed he was the second coming but thought he didn’t have to train as hard and could drink alcohol and party and still be sharp

Broner ate his way out of an easy decent career. His inability to be disciplined between fights kept forcing him up and up the weight classes. If he has stayed at 135 where he should’ve been due to his actual height and limitations that come with that, he would right now be in a position to pass the torch to the tanks, Stevensons, and Haneys. Instead he’s making deals with the devil and hoping some name offers him a big enough check to take a beating. “He young tho” not became “it’s sad bro”

I'll give Broner this he's been in with some pretty heavy hitters and despite his lifestyle he's never been stopped

maybe its the fact he tries to survive and rarely throws any punches but he has taken some big shots over the years and keeps going

I thought Broner's downfall was signing the contract to face Maidana lol
