Jaime Munguia knew he was due to step up in class. That hasn't stopped him from going about his business as he would for any other pro fight. The unbeaten middleweight contender and former WBO junior middleweight titlist is locked in for his upcoming

This isn’t even a step up in competition Sergei is doing a retirement lap for paychecks. He could’ve got the nod can ggg and jacobs but charlo beat him throughly and he’s been in steep decline since that fight. Mungia is one of golden boys last stars remaining after garcia leaves Oscar not putting him in any risky fights

Man isn't ready for any challenge. As Bread pointed out, he was offered a shot at the title at 160 & didn't want it cos he might get mash up. Say what you like but at least Ryan & Teofimo have stepped up & fought for real. Munguia just wants to keep paddling in the shallow end of the pool.

The real deal will be if he fights the retired Charlo, who hasn’t fought in almost 2 years and still calls himself a champion! Charlo promoter didn’t want to sign the contract last year! Why is it Munguia’s fault that the cherry picker Charlo didn’t want to fight?

I feel for Derevyanchenko, who could have gotten the decision against Golovkin, and there wouldn't have been major complaints.

That was a gruelling fight, and no one can take away his achievement. The only fight he was clearly outboxed against Charlo.

But he is not at that prime anymore it seems, and a name opponent for Munguia to build his record.
