Lara, Wood Rematch Weights Photos Gallery - Mauricio Lara lost the World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight belt after failing to make weight on Friday. However, the Mexican will step into the ring to face Leigh Wood this Saturday but only the Brit will have the option to win the crown. (photos by Mark Robinson)

This is such a huge mess and injustice towards Woods. Lara is too fat to make weight so now he has the scapegoat of not being "allowed" to make weight and still get to fight Woods. They should have let Lara drain himself as much as possible to try and make weight.

Lara is probably just to cutting weight like that, but I guess he was not allowed to do it the same way this time by the BBBoC.

Yes, which is an overreach in their part

Lara clearly doesn’t care about the belts. He has a career carved out as a full time Brit basher. He should move to Europe. They are lining up to face him and he keeps knocking them down.
