  • Comments Thread For: Top Rank Prez: Fury-Joshua is The Biggest Heavyweight Match in The World

Top Rank President Todd DuBoef still views Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua as the "biggest heavyweight fight in the world." Joshua, who suffered back to back defeats at the hands of unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, is looking to bounce back against Jermaine Franklin on Saturday night at The O2 in London.

Tyson fury is doing everything in his power not to become undisputed. Every time when the opportunity was there for these heavyweights to become undisputed they avoided it.

Fury vs Joshua is looking like a poor man’s gervontae vs Ryan a fight everyone wants to see but no real belts on the line (yes fury has one but he should have did it when Joshua had his) and one is looking to be on the downside of their career (Joshua).

is it really the biggest heavyweight fight in the world when you already know who's going to win? Joshua has been soundly beaten 3 times. Is Joshua's fan base so solid that he doesn't even need to win anymore?

So then it's nothing of the sort. Joshua is a former unified champ, Fury is a highly decorated champ. Davis has held 2 real belts, Garcia has held none. Fact is these guys fought fellow top tier HWs, Garcia and Davis have not fough5 the top 5 of their divisions. The comparison is way off base. Be real son.

Could be, like a ODH fanbase. They stood by him win or lose because his fights were always high drama. Should Fury be fighting Usyk instead? Hell yes, I'm as angry as any fan that it fell through. It's 60/40 Fury's fault too. As a big fan of his it sucks to say that. Idk full details but from what we heard, he needs to swallow a bit of pride and make it happen. However Fury/Joshua is still must see TV.

He's gotta know Fury isn't going to give him a fair split. I'd actually rather see Joshua fight Wilder. I still think he is a few fights away from fighting anybody dangerous, though.

Personally I’d rather see Joshua vs Wilder and Fury vs Usyk or Usyk vs Wilder.

The best fight that is already MADE this year is Haney vs Loma. Not the biggest, but the most skilled fight.
