  • Comments Thread For: Ex-Manager of Joshua Buatsi Blames Stalled Career on His 'Old School', Risk-Averse Trainers

The former manager of light heavyweight contender Joshua Buatsi says it was difficult to plot out a robust fighting schedule for his ex-charge because of the fighter's risk-averse trainers.

Fast Eddie was trying to use Buatsi as a sacrificial lamb to keep Bivol away from Beterbiev, and to get paid from a Bivol and Buatsi fight in the meantime. Hearn didn't care about Buatsi taking an ass whooping from Dmitry due to his inactivity and not being ready for that type of fight yet, Eddie only cared about aging Artur and lining his pockets while promoting Buatsi and Bivol, and selling the fight to the public as the best fight to make right now. I'm glad Buatsi saw through the bullshxt, and took his business elsewhere.

How can anyone at 258 talk about risk averse the way they've managed Aj who's continuously avoided the top 2 heavyweights of his own era.
Eddie of mismatchroom was trying to throw Buatsi under the bus like Brooke Golovkin & keep him under contract.
The whole world wants Bivol Beterbiev apart from Eddie.

Its more like Eddy is evicting a squatter. Buatsi didn't complain about the corn flakes until Eddy tried to put him in deep. Eddy said Bivol and Buatsi said goodbye.

It's like describing Charlo's trainer Ronnie Shields.

Jermall: "What do you think about me fighting Jacobs?"

            Shields: <cricket.......>

Jermal: "Do you think I can beat Andrade?"

            Shields: <cricket.......>

            Jermall: "How about Canelo?"

            Shields: <cricket.......>

Silent or hesitant answer will demoralize any fighter.

Bob publicly says he doesn't want the Bivol Beterviev fight because Bivol is boring and Hearn gets the blame seems like the Wilder-protectors have jumped ship to ESPN.

Bumasti and his team like to complain and blame everyone but themselves it seems, this geezer will get starched when he steps up his heart is not in the game.

Wilder has never been a top 5 in his life. Not only that, the evidence is stacked up against Wilder in his continuous ducking of AJ. Wilder admitted he ducked AJ. He ducked for a lot more money to fight Ortiz in a rematch that no one was asking for. He also said AJ and Eddie were desperate for the fight even though two seconds earlier he was saying they're ducking him. Wilder would also duck the entire division including Ruiz at present. Wilder knows what happens when he fights a world class fighter. Those scars will stay with him. As will the deranged delusions he's been brutally exposed for.

The whole world other than Eddie Hearn? So Bob Arum and Beterbiev have been willing have they? And if i show you evidence for the opposite? What will you do, continue to lie and spread propaganda? Why? What has got you so emotional that you have a spiteful vendetta?

Wrong. Buatsi has been asking for the Bivol fight for ages. However, he doesn't want to take his shot after being out of the ring for a year and a half. That would be stupid.
