Man if Plant just had some power... He just doesn't have enough pop to keep these stronger guys from walking him down.

No doubt. With great competition, they seem happy to eat his shots and wear him down. I also imagine a lot of folks getting turned off with the holding style.

Plant has no offensive arsenal. Nvm power.

Great fight!!! Benavidez owned Plant. Canelo vs Benavidez NEEDS to happen.

Kenny Bayless is a joke. An absolute disgrace.

I wonder what excuses Breadman is going to make for Plant and himself next Saturday on his little bias weekly boxingscene forum?....

always nice to see the wbc interim belt, they should give plant a belt too, wbc runners up interim belt, same colour but just slightly smaller maybe

1st, Showtime owns Boxingscene so I suspect there is some bias but...that has never influenced Edwards or his opinions. 2nd, Breadman isn't infallible but he is principled and doesn't make excuses. Lastly, Breadman takes time out of his professional life to give incite to those capable of understanding, some people get it and others are just too simplistic in their thinking.

This is where you need an experienced trainer that isn't a slave to the fighter or isn't worried about his job been in jeopardy. That fight should have been stopped. Plant took a beating out there and it remains to be seen how that affects him moving forward.
