Julian Williams is one of only two opponents who have beaten Jarrett Hurd during Hurd's 10-year professional career. Hurd was a 6-1 favorite the night Williams dropped him in the second round and won their fan-friendly 12-round bout by unanimous decision in May 2019. Williams won the IBF, IBO and WBA 154-pound championships from Hurd at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia.

No point in rematching a dude who beat you clearly! Respect for taking PRIME JRock as a voluntary though

In Julian Williams vs Hurd, JRock had a perfect plan that was perfectly executed. Julian Wiliams today is similar but he doesn't seem to make adjustments, he gets timed caught and eventually caught with way too many clean shots.

Hurd's problem is that because of his size and physical attributes, he stopped fine tuning his skills, and began trying to walk down everyone. He limited himself to fighting one way, but he had the talent to do much more early on in his career.

Hurd was a fighter that failed after being a champion for a short period and to be honest he's a likeable individual with a fan friendly style but just haven't developed all around skills and I can't see him going to far!
