In summary: the WBC's abnegation of its responsibilities and willingness to flush its last shred of credibility down the toilet does not mean that we are going to follow suit.
Why is anyone listening to a sanctioning belt organization over the commission. WBC is notorious for siding with the cash cows, ever since Ive been following boxing, given Mayweather so many "media" passes. It's sickening, Because I was a hard core die hard fan, boxing is depressing now.
The sport of boxing was tarnished big time after Clen-elo got a 6 month 'slap on the wrist' ban, but now this is worse than that contaminated beef crock of **** farce!!!! The WBC are obviously just money-hungry gangsters and boxers life's really don't matter a **** to them. Shame on them all!!! Boxing is the real loser here.
Before these failed drug test Hearn was always banging on about Vada being the worlds best testing body , now he seems happy to go along with the WBC's view that they got it wrong on two occasions with the same fighter and the same banned drugs .... it stinks .I hope the BBOC hold their ground on this as Benn has not in many people's opinion and mine cleared his name ,he's simply allowed his lawyers to skirt around the rules ....bad day for boxing , thanks to Eddie Hearn and Conor Benn!!
The BBofC licensed on the basis of him passing the UKAD tests which he did their failing him on failing the VADA tests for the WBC which has cleared him .. weird at best .
They should just ban him with an American style couple of months slap on the wrist the investigation seems to take longer than the bans now, BBofC bans are usually substantial but he passed the tests he was supposed to for them not great if their was a legal challenge.
