  • Comments Thread For: Conor Benn Cleared By WBC, "No Conclusive Evidence" Found of Doping

The World Boxing Council has issued their ruling on welterweight contender Conor Benn. Last October, Benn was scheduled to face Chris Eubank Jr. in a catchweight grudge match. The fight was canceled during fight week, when it was revealed that Benn had tested positive for a banned substance. It was later revealed, by Benn himself, that he tested positive for the same banned substance in an earlier drug test.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. No different to Fury’s wild boar meat excuse, Canelo’s tainted beef, all the contaminated supplements etc etc etc.

These kind of findings are typical of the WBC's oevre. It's another one in the ei of boxing. Maybe they scambled the results. Hearn should have no worries that anyone is looking to poach his fighter. It's not going to be a good look twenty years from now when they look back at the photo albumen of his career.

Let’s hope Benn doesn’t suddenly become a shell of what he was, or the whole thing will be a yolk.

We all saw this coming. You literally need to catch an athlete with the needle/IV still attached to him to make the charges stick these days. Even then they’d probably say “I tripped” and get away with it.

Fast Eddie saw Pacquiao about to bounce to another fight, and wrote a blank check to Sulaimon and the WBC. Money and influence moves mountains out of the way, the man failed and was found with the shxt in his system on TWO DIFFERENT occasions, and suddenly there's no conclusive evidence. You just have to close your eyes and laugh.... unless you're Eubank or his people.
