I'm such a Murat fan but it's a pity that his management are struggling to get him big fights. If he continues to fight fringe opposition it won't work in his favor. Once he get a big name scheduled there's a big possibility of him overtraining or getting injured once again, which will be the end of his career.

Glad Balogun is getting a opportunity against a bigger name and good test for Murat in the heavyweight division.

Balogun 20-0 with a bloated record. Trey Lippe Morrison is not exactly a contender. He is another guy living off his father’s name. Gassiev should have little problems with this guy…

SHOULD is the keyword. Gassiev better be patient and cautious. Balogun isn't much of a boxer but he has lights out power coming out of that southpaw stance.

I like the fight. It's a move up in the rankings for the winner. Gassiev is 29 and entering what should be his prime, and at 6'4" his height can support the weight he'll need at Heavyweight. The scoring vs. Usyk was wide but look how well that guy did moving up.
We can expect him comfortable in the low 230s. Now ranked #2 in Russia and #24 in the world, he seems ready to break throuh here.
Shorter and a bit lighter, Balogun is 20-0 and a superb athlete with power. Ranked #8 in the US and #35 in the world by BoxRec, the one time NFL Linebacker is heading into his make or break moment, and he will be TESTED.

He’s 39 & his best win is over Trey Lippe… Gassiev is a former unified CW champion. As long as he doesn’t injure himself he will crush this guy in a round or 2…

Is Balogna any good (in this instance)? Never heard of him before.

I enjoy it on sandwiches as a cheap source of protein but it has tons of sodium like all deli meats!

I wish Gassieve was more active, his cruiser weight match with Dorticos was a great fight.
