Why would beterbiev need an exemption when it's clear bivol is being pushed to a carnela rematch to get robbed?

Beterbiev is 38, he doesn`t have much time left. every next year he doesn`t fight Bivol in is the lost year for him.

He wouldn't. The article states Bivol would need one as he is fighting as a Russian.

This is laughable, they're both Russian fighters; although Bivol is mixed. Just the WBC acting like the WBC -- I would really love for one of these sanctioning bodies to burn so it acts like a lesson to the others.

Pushed? And I don't really see how it's clear based on the quotes from Bivol, who's said numerous times Canelo doesn't interest him.

The game is prize fighting, if Bivol and his team get an offer they really like from Canelo, it's their choice to accept or go in another direction. Unless there's a rematch clause in place...

Purse bids, Smith not getting more than 20%.

Bivol needs to sign with PBC. Then there will be no problems anymore with his citizenship.

If they did fight, the only question would be if Callum could last the distance with Beterbiev, or lose on points.

Beterbiev would also hit Smith on the arms, as Canelo did as part of the strategy. But yes, not a fight I'd like to see at all, to be honest.

Callum Smith? He's had 2 fights against scrubs in the 2+ years since he gave up against Nelo...
