Nonito Donaire already comfortably stands as a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer, but the Filipino fighter is still trying to find new ways to further forge his legacy. Ever since the start of his professional career in 2001, the four-division champion Donaire has been a world titleholder at 112, 118, 122, and 126 pounds.

Going down in weight at his age and facing heavy hitters is admirable, but dangerously stupid.

He should not be dropping weight at this age because that has been a disaster for a number of fighters. Either he would catch Estrada and due to Estrada's lack of power, him to sleep or if he took a sustained attack from Estrada, he could be drained and wind up in the hospital or worse.

Silly what some will do for fame. He's willing to risk his life after boxing to become a five division champion and cement his HOF status.

Yeah, people who gets to do what they love for living don't know when or how to stop. It's okay if you play in a band or something but in combat sports it's dangerous. They need someone in their life to tell them to stop in time

He is going to be drained and 40 years old in a weight class that the fighters don't last long. I give him cojones for opting to do that but my guess it won't end well for him.
