Heavyweight contender Martin Bakole is looking for a breakout year in 2023. Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) has won seven fights in a row since losing to Michael Hunter in October of 2018. Back in May, Bakole picked up the biggest win of his career with an impressive ten round decision win over unbeaten Olympic gold medal winner Tony Yoka.

I see Bakole stopping Dubois, and it's funny that even though Dubois loves telling sparring stories, he doesn't bring up his sparring sessions with Bakole and even Hrgovic (but I get that sparring is sparring).

I think Bakole knocks DDD out. I can easily see DDD kneeling when Bakole starts landing bombs.

Hunter only won bcs Bakole got injured. Bakole was hurting Hunter each time he connected. A rematch would be a quick 3-5 round KO win for Bakole. And triple knee would quit in 3 rounds after realizing he is in for another beating. Bakole has an old school style and with his current size it will be a tough night for anyone to fight him.
