Interesting matchup. I could see it either producing a very entertaining scrap or something ugly and lacking in flow... the choice of ref could play a part.
Very interesting fight from two warriors. Lopez was unafraid to travel twice to his opponents home turf and doubt if he would refuse to go again. He is the champion now so I think it should rightfully be about time to have Conlan, Wood, Worrinton start fighting away from their comfort zone.
Vances, Flores jr, Warrington - they all picked Lopez because they thought they could cherry pick him and now Conlan and Top Rank are doing the same thing (In Top Rank's case, tfor the 3rd time). When will they learn?

Actually Warrington fought him because he was the IBF mandatory - wouldn't have wanted to lose the belt, as they wanted a unification with Wood in the summer. Conlan is fighting him because it's a world title shot and he doesn't currently have a title. The other belt holders are Wood (fighting Lara and then probably Warrington), Vargas who's with PBC and Navarette who's moving up.
Another thing is they know Lopez isn't really a seller, whereas Conlan is. Makes a lot of sense to a) make a good fight and b) keep the IBF in-house.
