Is it safe to use a female ref in a male boxing match?

      1. It is distracting to fighters.
      2. She might get injured by an errant blow.
      3. It might be difficult for her to separate two strong elite male athletes.
      4. It might be difficult for her to impose her will on the fighters if things go sideways (unsportsmanlike conduct, fighter falling on her, etc.)

      Anything else?

They actually had a very good commentating team with Tarver,Pauli and Grisham. Didn't care for the black ring mat with black/yellow ring ropes but the production was no worse than PBC when they had Lewis and Goosen out there lol. Take that back,Tarver n Pauli are far better than those 2 clowns.

Beautiful short, compact right hook from Crawford to end the show!

If they are competent and can control the fight, I don't see a problem, Ive seen many useless men refs it boils down to the individual, this female ref in this fight did fine.
