  • Comments Thread For: Fury: When I Splatter Usyk, They're Gonna Say, 'He Was Too Small! It Was A Mismatch!'

Tyson Fury is more than willing to fight the undefeated two-division champion who beat the other star British heavyweight twice. The unbeaten WBC champion just doesn't expect to get the credit Fury feels he'd deserve for becoming opponent to

Keith, If you cannot get something as simple as Fury's height correct, why should any reader pay attention to anything else you wrote? Fury isn't 6'9" tall; he's six foot seven and one-half. Just because Fury claims to be 6'9" tall doesn't make it so.

Will you argue with a Senior Writer?

Fury is full of Shyt, the little man has great footwork and he gets inside on Fury. Fury will use the same jerky faints but they'll have a lessor effect on the faster, better boxer. Usyk is not a power puncher, he's a technician. I expect Usyk to get underneath, work inside, slide to the side and be gone before Fury gets off. This Fight is far more difficult than Fury vs a big man with lessor skills. Don't sleep on this fight, I'm going with Usyk by split.

That's around what he is, 6ft 7 and a half. Fury was always listed as 6 ft 9, an inch taller than David Price, but Price is slightly taller. Price is legit 6 ft 8. Fury is still a giant, but nowhere near 6 ft 9. That's his wrestling height, I guess. They always exaggerating. Andre the Giant 7 ft 4 when he was 6 ft 11, Kane 7ft, when he was around 6ft 9. With Mike Tyson though, people did the opposite. At Mike's peak size, according to someone who officially measured him, he was 5 ft 11 and a half, but throughout the years his fans have moved down from that, to 5 ft 11, then 5ft 10, then 5 ft 9. 30 years from now people will be talking about the great 5ft 5 Mike Tyson. No they won't, just don't "retire" again after the Chisora exhibition.

With Oscar, too. That's why he wore heels.

Fury is right, he will get no credit for beating Usyk.

As soon as Fury knocks Usyk out, they'll move on to someone else like Hrgovic/Sanchez and claim that Fury is ducking.
