  • Comments Thread For: Gilberto Ramirez: Loss To Bivol Has Been Difficult To Accept - I'll Come Back Stronger

It took almost two weeks after his resounding defeat for Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez to break his silence. Back on November 5 in Abu Dhabi, Ramirez finally stepped in the ring for his mandatory crack at WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol.

Zurdo was totally outboxed and outclassed. But, a good learning experience.

And as you can see, it doesn't matter if you have a record of over forty fights unbeaten, it's who did you beat. Bivol hasnt had many fights but look at the quality of opposition he's defeated, besides Canelo on his record.

Exactly. This is why people should be cautious about hyping up Benavidez so much. Fans just see some big, undefeated guy and assume he's an unstoppable monster.

After all claims it was pretty one -sided beat down.

Ramirez should go to a cruiserweight if he wants the title.

Didn’t think it was close. Bivol won most of the rounds quite handily. Ramirez was getting lit up, a lot.
