  • Comments Thread For: Teofimo Lopez-Sandor Martin In Play Again After WBC Orders 140-Pound Final Eliminator

Teofimo Lopez and Sandor Martin might fight after all. The WBC ordered Lopez-Martin as a final elimination match Wednesday during that sanctioning organization's annual convention for an eventual shot at its vacant super lightweight title. Powerful southpaws Regis Prograis and Jose Zepeda will fight for the WBC's unclaimed 140-pound championship November 26 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Sandor Martin vs Teofimo Lopez is an excellent fight for them ion the future, if Lopez can take out Pedraza!

If Lopez does take this route to a title and if he gets through Pedraza and Martin, the winner of Prograis/Zepeda will definitely be a serious test to see if his win over Lomachenko wasn't just bc of his size. Both those guys are serious punchers and the Kambosos fight showed Lopez can be hit clean. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out over the next couple of months.

Lopez will get back with his ex before he'd ever face Zepeda. Zepeda is the Grim Reaper of 140.

            CALLED IT!

Now Teo can get a credible win at 140, because :

Martin doesnt really belong in this mix of champion contenders. Whomever gets Sandor, gets an easy victory path.

Beating Mikey validated him. Just like beating Teo validated Kambosos and beating Paulie validated Eggington.

If this is the same attitude Teo has then he is in for a long night.

I dont think Sandor Martin lasts 3 rounds with Teo, His stiff ass gets Menarded.
