A perfect example of why resume matters, there are other fighters out there with their 0s in tact who could end up the same way against the right opponent.

Zurdo isn't a devastating puncher--neither is Bivol. But speed and precision won the fight for Bivol. Canelo prob would KO Zurdo at 175 but he won't fight him anyway porque es mexicano.

That's exactly what Ramirez didn't anticipate. He became gun shy because he thought he would just walk Bivol down and control the action.

A great strategy from Bivol and his team.

It kinda reminded me a bit of Canelo when he fought GGG the second time, a complete change. Of course, that fight was much more exciting than this one, but still, clever tactics.

Bivol is one of the best boxing technicians around today, and perhaps in boxing history, simple but effective.

He gets the job done, but his style is not entertaining to watch. Lots of rounds where no one wants to make a move.

If you appreciate technique, strategy, fundamentals, there's a lot to admire. On top of that, Bivol frequently stood in front of his opponent and let his hands go. Entertained me.
