Katie Taylor will face an unbeaten challenger for her next title defense. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Argentina's Karen Elizabeth 'La Burbuja' Carabajal will be next in line for Ireland's Taylor, who puts her undisputed lightweight championship at stake. The bout will headline an October 29 DAZN show from OVO Arena Wembley in London, with the event expected to be confirmed in the coming days.

What happened to this fight being a mandatory for one of Taylor's belts? Hearn said that would be the case but she's fighting an unknown super featherweight instead.

cecilia brækhus at a catchweight is a better and more interesting fight. she's supposed to be aam UK cash cow like AJ. You don't see AJ doing this.

Two knockout's, but even worse than that this Karen Elizabeth "Burbuja" Carbajal hasn't fought anyone of note, just deplorable opposition.
It look's like Hearn spent the 5 month's after the Serrano fight, just to find this absolute nobody with a deceptive undefeated record.
Katie might be able to get a knockout win, which would be her first in 3 1/2 years making it her 7th KO win in 22 fights.
Serrano is fighting a undefeated champion in a unification bout, and Taylor is fighting an enigma/mystery, I doubt anyone's ever heard of her except for Hearn.
Besides keeping Taylor active, this farce won't accomplish anything else for her career, or as a build up to the rematch that everyone is hankering for.

Hearn is promoting the safest fight possible for Katie Taylor, he doesn't want to take the chance of possibly torpedoing the big money rematch with Serrano.
While Serrano is taking on the # 2 ranked fighter in her division, Taylor is taking on # 23rd ranked super featherweight Carbajal, which is one division lighter than Taylor's lightweight division.
There's definitely something wrong with the schematics of this particular picture, it just doesn't fit, someone's trying to pull a fast one on the boxing public.
Look no further than Eddie Hearn, (aka) the weasel of boxing.
