Joseph "Blessed Hands" Adorno, a former amateur standout with heavy hands was forced to rely on his guile and discipline to fend off a tenacious effort from Hugo Alberto Roldan in winning a 10-round unanimous decision in the super lightweight main event of ShoBox on Friday at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino's Grand Ballroom in Atlantic City.

He has solid power but he needs better conditioning he should really be at 135 he was lackluster in the 2nd half of the fight with Roldan. To be fair I think he also hurt his hand.

I agree with Joseph Adorno 100%, if he stays busy, with another fight to close out 2022.
Repeats the 2022 formula of fighting 4 times, in 2023 he'll have 22 wins with possibly 19 KO's.
Then I can definitely see him not only challenging for, but winning a world title at the start of 2023.
Just like many young fighters do Joseph's discipline wavered, and he had a few fights canceled because he missed weight.
If he 's able to stay focused, disciplined, and committed he has the necessary skills to be highly successful in the 140 pound weight division.

Joseph's got serious power in his fists, he knocked out or dropped almost every fighter he's faced.
Although he should probably be fighting at 135, because his lack of height, he's had a few fights fall through because he missed weight.
So at this stage of his career 140 is where's it's at for him, because at 23 he's still filling out, if not growing.
He's shown a lot of character hanging in there when the going got really tough for him inside the ring.
He's got a bright future in the sport of boxing if he can just stay humble, focused, and above all else committed.

Should stop saying he's a 135 pounder, he hasn't made the weight in a whilee, roldan was tricky and determined the knockdown saved adorno from a lost, the guy has talent but is not a CLUTCH fighter like breadman would say

Adorno just isn’t busy enough. He isn’t never first. Always trying to catch you coming in or in between your punches.
he’s got power forsure but if you can take his pot shots you can put hustle him. Plus he fades hard down the stretch

I said he should fight at 135 not that he was a 135 lber and I stick by that he doesn't look as solid at 140 and he's undersized he admitted when he was in Robert Garcias camp that he walks around at 180 and has to drop a lot of weight fast that's why he hasn't made that weight in a while. His stamina is questionable and I think it's because he drops too much weight too quick instead of walking around closer to his fight weight.

It's all about conditioning with Joseph. I have attended a few of his fights and met him on more than one occasion. He seems like a good kid and if he focuses on his craft, he will be successful. I wish him the best but dedication is all part of it, especially in the fight game!
