Definitely sounds like Lipinets was on stand by for an expected pullout by one or the other of the main event

It will probably be a better fight anyways if Lipinets is on point it could be a rough night for Omar. If Omar were to win it would be a better win than Broner anyways at least Lipinets will come to fight and actually throw more than 1 pot shot at a time less than 20 times a round.

You don't want to make light of mental health issues but in this case, it is safe to assume Broner is struggling to make weight. Dude has been a mental case for the longest and he still moves forward with his fights.

Great replacement as I believe Sergey was scheduled to fight on the untelevised portion.

Omar is ready to go, I think it's more about him than the opponent but we'll see. AB may be removed from the card but Omar still was looking soft and puffy faced in workouts that I've seen; and last fight didn't end well. Lipinets hasn't been very effective at 147 but if he hangs around long enough he could start to do damage on Omar who is feeling the shots more these days imo. to be fair, both are

I believe this fight is at 140 which is why Broner pulled out in the first place he was looking big in camp.
