The reigning lineal/WBA/WBC/Ring flyweight champion turned away a spirited challenge from Venezuela's Eva Guzman, earning a ten-round decision in their DAZN-aired contest. Scores of 99-91, 98-92 and 98-92 all landed in favor of Houston's Esparza, who has now won six straight overall and four in a row in Texas following Saturday's contest at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Womens boxing is hard to watch. No way they can sell without men on the undercard.

Furthermore, you’ve seen loads of trash fights in your time. In fact, the majority of men’s fights are mediocre and/or sloppy, anyway. Only a few standout as either explosive showdowns, technical affairs or clinics.

Taylor-Serrano was definitely one of the few that you can truly appreciate. Hence, why it’s difficult to watch womens boxing when the competition they have is way more mediocre than mens boxing. I believe boxing overall has became less n less competitive throughout time. Growing up watching the best fight the best because they wanted to prove they were the best was something else. Money mattered but it didn’t depict if they fought or not. Proving they were the best was usually the main goal. Times have changed that’s for sure
