By Keith Idec - Isaac Dogboe fended off an ever-aggressive Joet Gonzalez on Saturday night to earn a featherweight title shot. The former WBO junior featherweight champion got off to a strong start, withstood Gonzalez's rally in the later rounds and won a 10-round split decision in a main event ESPN+ streamed from Grand Casino Hinckley in Hinckley, Minnesota. Two of the world's fiercest featherweights are ready for a high-stakes battle. Two-time title challenger Joet Gonzalez (25-2, 15 KOs) will meet former junior featherweight world champion Isaac Dogboe (23-2, 15 KOs) in the 10-round main event Saturday at the Grand Casino Hinckley. Gonzalez will defend his WBO International strap, with the fight also serving as a WBC title eliminator.

In the 10-round lightweight co-feature, the king of Stockton, California, Gabriel Flores Jr. (21-1, 7 KOs) looks to author a career-defining win over unbeaten contender Giovanni Cabrera (20-0, 7 KOs).

Card starting now on ESPN+, most of the undercard pretty weak today, so I'll have it on the background until the better fights come on. Will post results of some of these early fights but no RBR as I'm working on some other stuff simultaneously
