  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: No Problem Making Bivol-Ramirez, But We Already Made Plans For Bivol-Buatsi

Eddie Hearn intends to fight the latest directive from the WBA. The sanctioning body recently ordered a fight between its light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol of Russia and his top challenger, Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez of Mexico. Bivol, whom Hearn promotes, is coming off a successful, career-changing defense in May with a victory over Canelo Alvarez. Ramirez is backed by Golden Boy.

Problem with the Buatsi fight is it means the Ramirez mandatory is still hanging over Bivol in 2023 when we’d all like to see him fight Beterbiev. Get Zurdo out the way and then straight into an undisputed title fight or Canelo rematch. Buatsi hasn’t earned a shot anyway.

Right!? Plans, not signed contracts. There are no tickets sold. Hearn just seems more and more out of his league as time goes by. Too loose with the lips (giggity) when it comes to the media.

Don’t be shocked if any of these top guys beat each other. Ramirez gets first crack. The winner of that can try to unify with Beterbiev. Canelo can rematch Bivol in a non title fight.

Mate you so remind me of the old lads I used to hit Bethnal Green with. Always great to see
your old fashioned Marquis of Queensbury posts. By the by, barely an untrue word spoken above

Buatsi is Hearn`s fighter, that is why. Nobody but Hearn wants to see Bivol -Buatsi.

My persional opinion is, Bivol beats them all at 175.

Hearn needs to take a step back and get out of the way on this one, these are two dazn fighters who could easily fight each other in what would be a more intersting fight than any other save for Canelo with both. Buatsi isn’t even beyond domestic level yet. 110% with Oscar on this one
