  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Floats Wilder, Whyte Trilogy As Options For Chisora's Next Fight

Eddie Hearn wants to deliver another tentpole fight for his aging heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora. Chisora is coming off a close split decision win over Kubrat Pulev in their 12-round heavyweight main event bout Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London. The 38-year-old Zimbabwe-born British national has been heeding calls for retirement in the past few years but his latest win has seemingly put some wind in his sails.

Putting Del Boy in with Wilder would be downright unethical, its a near guaranteed brutal KO loss.

Whyte trilogy? eh maybe. Its been competitive so far and Chisora has momentum on his side.

Wilder stops Helenius inside 4 - 5 rounds. It would take him about 8-10 rounds to stop Chisora.

Chisora is tough inside maschine, he will make Wilder to work hard.

If Wilder wants some rounds, he should fight Chisora. But he will fight Helenius and stop him early.

Wilder isn't gonna fight Chisora, just your typical name-dropping from Eddie.

Wilder is only fighting PBC heavyweights.

As far as I'm concerned Whyte-Chisora are 1-1 because i thought that Del won their first fight, so the trilogy makes sense.

I can see the Whyte trilogy but I'm not sure I wanna see Wilder vs Chirosa on a billboard. War strikes me as a genuine guy and really I'd like to see him go out with a W and not sure he can withstand a thunderous punch like Wilder has.

Yeah Hearn only dropping Wilders name, he knows there's no chance of that fight happening.

Whyte-Chisora 3 isn't a bad fight for either guy but will probably depend on how much each is looking to get paid.

Hearn is just using Wilder's name for publicity, it will be a in-house fight for Hearn with Whyte-Chisora, he will make 20% from both the fighters.

Would like to see him vs somebody like Gassiev, Hunter, Bakole. No desire to see him in with Wilder, would take a UK-level opponent like Wardley or Gorman over that as an easier fight would be good for Chisora.

If AJ gets stopped by Usyk, Hearn will probably look to make AJ-Chisora. Safe fight for AJ that does a big crowd and nets Chisora a career-high payday to hopefully retire on.

From all big money fights ever offered to him, Wilder has chosen Fury only. Strange guy. He could have Joshua and Whyte on his resume already.
