  • Comments Thread For: BJ Flores: Jake Paul is Fighting Better Opposition Than Any 5-0 Fighter Out There

The boxing world was taken by surprise when Jake Paul (5-0) selected Hasim Rahman Jr. (12-1) as a replacement for Tommy Fury, who isn't allowed by the United States government to enter the country. Rahman, who is the son of the former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman, has a deep amateur background with over 100 fights.

"When asked if he thinks an opponent with the pedigree of Rahman will shut up the naysayers, Paul’s trainer BJ Flores said he could care less."

Americans needs to get this right, the expression is 'couldn't care less', not 'could care less'. If BJ Flores can 'care less', then he cares more than he's making out in the interview. It's not ****ing difficult! jeez.

Youtube boy has literally fought 4 straight opponents with 0-0 records and then fought an opponent with an 0-1 record. Gtfoh with that better opposition bullshieeet.

If BJ Flores is teaching you boxing, your ceiling as a fighter is the floor.

This is the same BJ Flores that when up against the limited and self trained Beibut Shumenov, when asked by his corner to cut off the ring on Beibut, looked up at his corner stupidly and said 'How?'

Some credit yes, but they're draining Hasim Jr to 200 lbs. That also has to be noted.

I like the word "opposition" he used there. Not a boxer... but just an opponent. Hell, HRJr might not fight, yet. I am sure he is miffed at the pittance he is being paid. But that is the greed of the 2 white boys that are stealing headlines. I just imagine them in the right with Breidis, Glowaski, Dorticos, etc. Good Lord, Paul Bros would fold like napkins. They can barely make it 6 rounds with Youtubers and has beens.
