  • Comments Thread For: Tommy Fury Denied Entry To U.S., Aug 6. Fight With Jake Paul Now In Holding Pattern

Jake Paul is once again left standing at the altar while waiting for a fight with Tommy Fury to materialize. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that the previously announced Paul-Fury bout is officially in a holding pattern. Manchester's Fury went on record Tuesday morning to verify previously suggested rumors that he was turned away at London's Heathrow Airport due to his ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authority) document being denied, preventing the Brit from traveling to the U.S.

No matter what team Fury says it is pretty hard not to assume it is related to the Kinahan situation…

Its obvious why, guilty by association with kinhan. Its messed up though just being associated with an Irish drug kingpin and not even part of his crew and you are denied travel

Didn't he have issues entering US last year too?

Tyson Fury - the heavyweight champion of the world - is barred from entering the US because of his clear past association (he even went to the guy’s wedding) with a suspected global gangster.

And now similar suspected ties are preventing many others in the boxing industry from being able to enter America.

This is a HUGE FREAKiING STORY! Can the likes of Keith Idec, Chris Mannix, Mike Coppinger, Dan Rafael, Kevin Iole and others in the boxing media take time away from giving hot takes about PPV numbers and fawning over Fury and Canelo long enough to write about this in detail? Good Lord!

Meh. When Fury is ready to fight Joshua/Usyk, it won't be in the US. So who cares.
