That mightve been true before Canelo signed that deal with DAZN but like most,they more than likely realize GGG gets beat fairly easily by Canelo now at his age sending him into retirement

If Canelo struggles with GGG, then GBP will want to make Munguia/GGG in order to one-up Canelo. GGG still has his MW belts, so Munguia would become unified champion in one fight.

If GGG retires, then his belts become vacant and GBP will try to get Munguia in line for one of them.
