  • Comments Thread For: Promoter Salita: Otto Wallin Would Love To Fight Deontay Wilder

Otto Wallin will essentially stay busy in another non-televised fight Thursday night in Dearborn, Michigan. Assuming the favored heavyweight contender defeats Rydell Booker in their 10-round main event, his promoter hopes to land the Swedish southpaw a more meaningful fight later this year. Wallin would welcome a rematch with Tyson Fury at any point, but facing the former WBC champion Fury defeated twice would work as well.

I guarantee that when Wilder does come back he won’t fight anything more than a Taxi Driver and then probably a Plumber before he fights someone half decent. He will want a couple of easy knockouts under his belt after 2 KO losses in a row.

I honestly still don't know if Wilder is the real deal. I'm afraid he is not and never has been.

Damn good fight and easy to make since they are all in the pbc umbrella

I’ll watch it, but Wallin’s getting killed

Otto and his clown promoter say he will fight anyone. But he’s just fought Kamil Sokolowski who UK prospects face after 5 fights to get some rounds in and he’s fighting Rydell Booker next. He needs to fight someone decent for once

Prefer Wilder face a legit top 10, but this would be acceptable. Most of top 10 probably angling for a vacant belt later in year so gonna take no risks

This won`t happen. Wilder will want an easy touch or big money fight. Wallin is high risk low reward.

I’d be ok with Wilder/Wallin but not sure it is a big enough fight for Wilder. He only lost to Fury & has been out since October. I expect Wilder to get right back in the mix. Wallin or Chisora would be decent in my eyes. Wallin doesn’t bring much to the table but he has wins over Kauffman & Breazeale so he has some skill. I said in another thread how he is fighting Booker & over in Germany Charr, Demirezen, Kingpin & Hammer are all fighting on the same card. Kabayel is looking for an opponent… Is the problem Salita?
