    No it wouldn't.

    Kovalev is and was a washed up drunk whose punch resistance was shot by then and he's probably about to get wrecked by Pulev's bum journeyman brother.

          Man, get real. Kov was never the same after the Ward fights and even worse after The Storm snoozed him.

            He beat Alvarez very soundly in the rematch and did good against Yarde. But yeah, no longer the prime Krusher he was against Pascal, for example.

              Kovalev took the money, so complaining about not enough rest and short training camp is his own damn fault. He sold himself out. It was his biggest payday by far.

                  In the Alvarez rematch he fought like a vulnerable fighter and was hurt against Yarde. Canelo chose Kov at the perfect time.
