This was a terrible fight, an outright mismatch that should have never been made.
Janiel Rivera had lost his last 5 fights, now he's lost another to make it a grand total of 6 losses in a row.
He used to be a competitive fighter before the start of his 6 consecutive losses 3 years ago.
They should have gotten a better opponent for Angel Acosta in order to showcase his style, and power.
It is premature for him to be calling for the winner of Martinez, and Arroyo he needs another fight or two before challenging for a title.
He's a good fighter with knockout power, but the down side is he has a porous defense that account for his 3 losses 2 by stoppage.
He's an exciting fighter to watch, but he needs to work on his defense, because going after the knockout can't be so important that you get knocked out yourself.
