Don King was a convicted murderer, and he ruled boxing for decades. With Mauricio Sulaiman's father.

Don Kings Era was a different time, this is 2022.
You can not allow someone who has committed the crimes Daniel Kinahan has to be allowed Success off the back of his blood money.
Innocent people were killed by the Kinahans, not just other rival gang members.
After the regency hotel shooting, Kinahans went crazy killing anyone and everyone who had any links to the Hutch's.
Even if they had no involvement in the mob.
Shot people who were distant relations, and others got shot just because they were seen to be near members of the Hutch Gang.
An Irish man was shot dead in front of his wife ,and kids in a Spain because he was seen talking to a hutch Gang member.
He was just a random who met him at the pool in the resort, had no affiliation at all.
Kinahans are Scum, MTK is Scum, Probulem is Scum!

A sleaze-ridden sport like boxing, in which obvious winners of fights routinely get burned by crooked judges, is the ideal place for slime like Kinahan to infiltrate and grow powerful.

Why has no pressure been applied on UAE to extradite or revoke this guys visa? His $$$ must be going through their banking system.

A Blinky Palermo for the c21. A Frankie O'Carbo for modern boxing. What's not to like?

This sport was built off and with Blood Money, funny how all of a sudden people want to clean things up now (which will never happen)

We're getting a lot of articles about this NOW, when it's safe because the U.S. government made a statement about Daniel Kinahan's organization. But where were the news stories before?

Mauricio Sulaiman defended himself for meeting with Kinahan and taking a photo with him. Where are the boxing reporters following up on that and asking him to respond about the U.S. Treasury placing sanctions on him?

Arum is distancing himself from Kinahan. But where is the investigative journalism about the suspiciously cozy relationship between Top Rank and the WBO?

The media needs to do a better job of reporting and following up on these stories. Corruption can't be allowed to take root and flourish.

Boxing isn't corrupt because of Kinahan. Kinahan is involved because boxing is corrupt.

He didn't pick soccer, or athletics. He chose to get involved in boxing because that's where the gangsters go.

Nothing changes here. He'll be doing what he does in the background. And there are plenty of other dubious characters doing the same.

To really fix boxing you'd need to burn the whole thing down and start again. The alternative is to pick at threads and lift lids off things - but no-one knows what they're going to be uncovering.
