  • Comments Thread For: Lawrence Okolie Drops, Decisions Michal Cieslak in Ugly Fight

Lawrence Okolie huffed and puffed but couldn't get rid of Poland's Michal Cieslak, as he retained his WBO cruiserweight title with a unanimous decision to potentially set up a unification fight against WBC champion Ilunga Makabu or IBF champion Mairis Briedis, who watched from ringside and joined Okolie in the ring afterwards.

Cruiserweight star LAWRENCE OKOLIE defends his WBO strap for the second time, stepping in the ring with MICHAL CIESLAK live on DAZN this Sunday from The O2, London. Hackney native OKOLIE is making a second defence of his WBO cruiserweight title, with the former Olympian picking up the strap back in 2021 against Polish cruiserweight Krzysztof Glowacki.

Touted as Okolie’s biggest test to date, CIESLAK will be looking to pick up a world title on the second time of asking, having narrowly lost out to Ilunga Makabu in 2020 for the WBC cruiserweight title. The Polish cruiserweight will be looking to build on recent momentum, notching two back-to-back TKO wins to set up this fight with Lawrence Okolie on the world stage.

4-0 McKean, but hasn't been able to dent Bracamonte yet

6-0 McKean, looks like it will go all 8

80-72 on my card for McKean, he's got some skill but just needs to be tested a bit. Can't jump him up too far though, I'd like to see him fight Lenroy Thomas for the Commonwealth title
