Its never been about skills, its about your lack of fighting. If you dont hone them vs the best opps and frequently, you end up forgotten

Thurman was only just good in his prime around five years ago and was very nearly stopped by light hitting Lopez

Setting aside his goofy demeanor and arrogance, I have to remind myself that this dude has only lost once to an all time great, by a narrow decision. It’s his inactivity leading up to that loss, and especially since, that doesn’t instill confidence.

That ATG was also in his 40s past his prime and this dude did all that talking to get dropped and lose. Now he's coming back against a guy who got KO'd by a LW. Thurman is a clown who should start audtioning for a spot at the commentary desk since he likes to talk so much.

True dat. I’m not disagreeing. That’s why I have to remind myself. He seems so irrelevant, irregardless of the fact that his only loss…….
I enjoyed seeing PAC put it on him and I hope to see Barrios pull it off here, if I can find a free stream that is.

Yeah I agree, I just cant see myself paying for this either. $75 for a non title bout with both men coming off losses. Then you got LSC fighting a guy with a resume loaded with awful opposition.

Absolutely 0 chance he reclaims anything worth peanuts for the remainder of his ok career.

I can see Barrios upsetting Thurman via body shot. Thurman was physically gifted in terms of athleticism and power, but once his elbow got injured he was never the same he doesn't throw with the same authority anymore.

Thurman's "greatness" is really based on narrowly defeating Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter. Neither of these guys are going down as historically great. He was a winner of an in house round robin, that's it. The first time he stepped up to face a great fighter, he lost.
