  • Comments Thread For: Wallin's Promoter: Fury is a Star, 80-20 is a Fair Split For Whyte, It Sounds Right

Dmitriy Salita, promoter for heavyweight contender Otto Wallin, says an 80-20 monetary split is more than fair for Dillian Whyte to receive for a mandatory fight with Tyson Fury.

How does is this concern Salita? He should focus on getting his fighter a good bout with bigger cheque instead poking nose in someone else business. Whyte has every right to seek for a bigger piece of the cake.

This guy has to be trolling there’s no evidence Fury can fill a stadium on his name alone and Wallin isn’t even ranked so how can Whyte fight him if a Fury fight falls through ? That means either Fury dropped the belt or Whyte will want to get a bigger money fight anyway ?

So why was Wallin cherry picked for a WBC Interim title defense?

Because Ortiz declined the Wallin fight ,he decided to terminate negotiations talks where they were supposed to set up a fight . Whyte was looking for an opponent so both teams hooked up . Wallin was to be a stay busy fight but A.J losing changed those plans and focus was put on Fury since that fight was possible next . Wallin was ranked in top 15 then now he’s not .

Fury vs Wladmir Klitschko - 600k ppv buys
Fury vs Wilder 1 - 450k ppv buys
Fury vs Wilder 2 - 300k ppv buys
Fury vs Wilder 3 - 300k ppv buys

Whyte vs AJ - 670k ppv buys
Whyte vs Parker - 571k ppv buys
Whyte vs Chisora 2 - 532k ppv buys
Whyte vs Rivas - 368k ppv buys

yeh he gets espn money, but whyte also gets dazn money. Fury is the bigger name, don't get me wrong, but Whyte is not exactly small time. Fury has already maxed out his exposure in the US.

So who did Wallin lose to in order to lose this mythical top 15 spot?

He didn’t lose to anyone he was inactive . When does the WBC do anything for a reason or give clear explanations ?

Looking back at the rankings he wasn’t ranked top 15 at that time he was 20 . Whyte defeating him easier then Fury would have been the reason taking that fight ,to build his profile more .

Well well look who it is doing his daily Fury hating i'm so shocked. every thread involving Fury you are in it lol can't help yourself you and Bangem are two peas in a pod. Fury has made a big name for himself over the last few years even casuals know him he was on WWE ffs not relevant to boxing but relevant to his popularity. As i said before if you think Whyte who can't sell for himself deserves 45% you're as crazy as Whyte is.

This is interesting, Whyte has sold more PPV,s than Fury and from a single fight was in a fight that sold more than any Fury PPV.

45% is asking too much (in my opinion) but 20 is too low, 35% is good, 30 at a push.
